Chris Michie, lead guitarist for such legends as Van Morrison, Link Wray,
Jesse Colin Young, Maria Muldaur, The Pointer Sisters, and producer for
well-known artists David Grisman/Dan Kobialka, Jef Labes, and David Soul,
is also a brilliant solo artist in his own right.
His solo releases include the CD "Guitars And Oranges" on VIA Records, two
cassettes, "The Night Flight" and "Following Old Joe Clark" on CatchARabbit
Records, and one new CD release, "Tough Love" (one track of which will be
on Taxim Records) on CatchARabbit.
"Tough Love" (1998) is touted as being a gutsy return to the tradition of blues
with twists and turns that evoke a contemporary edge.
