L'orientale ride a crepapelle.

Beyond the Valley of the Dolls A man in costume chases someone and then kills him, and the crime is witnessed by a woman. Then he breaks into the room where a girl is sleeping and sticks the gun into her mouth. When she wakes up, she screams. The scream melts with the singing of a woman, Kelly, the leader of a girl-group that is performing at a party. She makes love with their manager in the van. Then the group takes off in the van and reach the town where Kelly's aunt Susan lives. Susan, who runs a business of semi-porno staging, welcomes Kelly and, despite the opposition of her attorney Porter, offers to give her one third of the inheritance that her mother could not obtain because she disappeared. But Kelly is more ecstatic to be invited to a party thrown by a celebrity. The host, homosexual Ronnie, gives Kelly a tour of the sex, drugs and rock party, while Harris, the boy, is getting bored (in vain seduced by an older woman), and Porter, the puritan grey-haired attorney, finds out that one of the girls, Kacey, is the daughter of a senator. Ronnie invites Kelly to sing. Ronnie renames the band The Carrie Nations, and Harris is set aside by Kelly, who prefers Ronnie's management and especially his parties, and walks alone heartbroken. He accepts to drive home with the sexy older woman in her Rolls Royce. Harris makes love to her in the car, while Kelly is making love with a Lance whom she just met. They are both becoming decadent and selfish, while Pat, the black drummer, has the time of her life with a black student, Emerson. Kelly now wants half of the inheritance money. Porter, the puritan, tries to negotiate, but is drugged and seduced by Kelly. At the next party, Susan meets an old lover, Baxter, who had once proposed to her, and swears he is now a changed man. Harris makes a scene but is beaten by Lance. Kelly, disgusted, leaves the party. Porter is fired by Susan, after she finds out that he has been trying to rip off Kelly. And, on the way out, Lance beats Ronnie too, after he invites him to his house for an intimate meeting. Pat is also getting corrupted: the student finds her in bed with a rich black guy. Then he refuses to move when the rich guy, Randy, tries to drive away, and the rich guy runs him over. Harris knocks at Kacey's door, who can't resist: they sleep together, but the following morning she's ashamed and kicks him out. Getting more and more famous, the Carrie Nations play live on tv: Harris tries suicide by jumping from the ceiling into the stage in front of them. The doctor tells his friends that his conditions are serious. Kacey reveals that she is pregnant of him. A friend, Roxanne, convinces Kacey to abort. Randy, after spending one month in jail for the previous episode, goes to visit Pat and Emerson, who are now happily together. He is about the rape her in front of him, when they are saved by a delivery boy who brings a bunch of flowers. Roxanne and Kacey make love in a field. Harris is now on a wheelchair, affectionaly assisted by Kelly. Ronnie invites Lance and Roxanne and Kacey to a "private" party. They get drunk and each couple makes homosexual love. Ronnie, wearing a costume, chases Lance and decapitates him with a sword. Kacey sees the murder and hides. Ronnie chases a waiter who has seen the corpse and coldly kills him by pushing the sword into his breast (the first scene), while Kacey is staring terrified from a window. Then Ronnie grabs a gun and enters the girls' room and puts the gun in Roxanne's mouth. The woman wakes up and screams. He pulls the trigger and Roxanne's head explodes. Kacey phones Kelly, who is playing cards with Harris, Pat and Emerson; but Ronnie is listening on the other line. While Ronnie is chasing Kacey around the house, the four rush to the car. Too late: Ronnie shoots Kacey in the face. The four jump on Ronnie and he dies in the fight. Somehow the fight causes a mirale, as Harris feels his legs again. Soon, he can walk again. Three weddings take place at the same time: Harris and Kelly, Susan and Baxter, Pat and Emerson.
