From the last lake to the top
| Try to follow the trail that starts from the center of the Mt Whitney face and runs to its right. Bear left as you go up the chute (1). Approach the notch (2). At the snow patch, climb up to your left (3). Again, bear left as you continue up the rocks (4). Coast to the right of the chimney where you have better grip and no major drops (5) to the end of the chimney. |
