The USA is the last country in the world that still uses the ancient Roman imperial system for measurements (miles, feet). This speedometer shows "miles per hour". Multiply their miles by 1.6 to obtain distances. Trivia: Ethiopia is the last country in the world that still uses the Julian calendar. So if the USA and Ethiopia merged, you would be brought back 2,000 years to the age of the Roman empire.
