Where we sleep? Camping. Bring sleeping bag.

Where we eat? Restaurants.

Costs? $20 to cross Yosemite (but if you drive through it at night there will be no rangers). Camping will be cheap or free. Gasoline will be about $25 each (depends on carpooling).

Plan? Friday 3pm rent a car. Marie takes BART to Pleasanton. Pickup Raj in Palo Alto. Pascale? Pierre? Maria?

swim suit (if we stop in monolake)
insect repellent (if we camp near water)

FOR THE HIKE
(we can buy this saturday if you don't have them)
flashlight and batteries (i have an extra flashlight, ask)
hiking boots or good walking shoes 
sunglasses 
sunscreen lotion (essential: UV very high)
hat 
LOTS OF WATER AND FOOD FOR THE HIKE 
3000-6000 calories in food/powerbars etc 
light sweater or windbreaker for the cold part 
maybe long pants if you get cold easily
aspirin (for altitude)
