The Shaggs, the three teenage sister Wiggins from New Hampshire,
released only one album,
Philosophy Of The World (march 1969 - Third World, 1969), that stands out as one
of the most (deliberately) incompetent musical works of the time.
They played two guitars and drums, and their "do-it-yourself" style and the sincere, intimate tone of their songs
(My Pal Foot Foot, I'm So Happy When You're Near)
predated "lo-fi" pop of the 1990s.
Shaggs' Own Thing was recorded in 1975 but only released in 1982.
Decades after the fact, Dot Wiggin resurfaced with her solo album
Ready! Get! Go! (Alternative Tentacles, 2013).

The Shaggs erano tre sorelle della famglia Wiggins e provenivano dal New Hampshire. Realizzarono un unico album: Philosophy Of The World (Third World, 1969). My Pal Foot Foot, I'm So Happy When You're Near ne sono degli esempi lampanti.
