Claudio Rocchi debuted as a traditional folksinger with Viaggio (Ariston, 1970), but the transcendent and psychedelic title-track of Volo Magico N.1 (Ariston, 1971) revealed a visionary singer, who shot himself overdoses of spirituality on La Norma Del Cielo (1972), largely a hodgepodge of left-overs from the previous album, and especially Essenza (1973), largely improvised in the studio.

He returned to acoustic folk with Il Miele Dei Pianeti, Le Isole, Le Api (1974), but then began experimenting (sometimes clumsily) with electronic sounds and collage techniques on Rocchi (1975) and Suoni di Frontiera (1976).

The last albums, the collection of orchestral ballads A Fuoco (1977) and the collection of soft rock Non Ce N'E` Per Nessuno (1979), were more personal and less mystical.

Un Gusto Superiore (1980) was a collaboration with Paolo Tofani of Area. But Rocchi had already retired from the music business to join a hare krishna commune.

I Think You Heard Me Right (Vinyl Magic, 1995) collects rarities.
