Carmaig DeForest e` un bizzarro cantautore di San Francisco, attivo dagli
anni '80, che ama accompagnarsi all'ukulele.
L'album I Shall Be Released (Good Foot, 1987) ne impose il tono
al confine fra Gordon Gano e
Jonathan Richman, ma poi scomparve nel nulla.
Torno` sulle scene anni dopo con
Death Groove Love Party (Factory Outlet, 1993), registrato fra il 1988
e il 1993, e lo
stesso sense of humour (Bend Down Low), e forse anche una ancor piu`
spiccata sudditanza nei confronti di Lou Reed.
