They debuted with the single It's My Thing (1987) and the album
Strictly Business (1988), containing
Strictly Business and You Gots to Chill.
Their aggressive style and sample-dependent composition was more interested
in the sound than in the message,
and they emphasized technology rather than street culture on the carefully
orchestrated Unfinished Business (1989),
Business As Usual (1990),
and particularly their last album, Business Never Personal (1992).
