German trio Trio (Stephan Remmler on vocals,
Gert "Kralle" Krawinkel on guitar,
Peter Behrens on drums) were loosely part of the German new-wave when they
debuted with the album Trio (1981). It contained Da Da Da,
a nonsensical litany for guitar, drums, drum machine and colloquial singing,
that stands as
perhaps the greatest anthem of the post-industrial era,
with one of the most uplifting guitar riffs of all times,
and some of the most subhuman vocals of all times,
and some of the most suave backing vocals of all times (Anette Humpe),
and some of the most immortal lines of all times, such as
"Da Da Da I Don't Love You You Don't Love Me Aha Aha Aha".
