Boston's 360, fronted by tough female vocalist Audrey Clarke, often compared to
Chrissie Hynde,
played granitic rock and roll with an emphasis on the emotional and virtuoso
guitar of Eric Russell.
The acerbic Illuminated (Link, 1991) and
Supernatural (Link, 1992) are only short on memorable songs
(Dead 1970 on the latter).
Strawberry Stone (RCA, 1994) is a disappointing collection of regular
power-pop ditties
with a touch of Flaming Lips eccentricities
(the 11-minute Nitetime Angel Candy).
