Angel Corpus Christi (aka Andrea Ross) is a
San Francisco singer and accordionist, who started recording with
guitarist and husband Rich Stim (a former MX-80 Sound).
The early works were mainly covers, as documented by self-produced cassettes
on debut album I Love New York (Criminal Damage, 1984) and on
Accordion Pop Vol I (Stim, 1989).
Wake Up & Cry (Criminal Damage, 1985) and
Dim The Lights (ENT, 1987) were the first original albums.
The 80's (ENT, 1989) is an anthology of the decade.
White Courtesy Phone (Almo Sounds, 1995) was her first major recording,
although it assembled mainly old songs played
anachronistic new wave style
(Way Out West, John Cassavetes, Lazy).
The album was a delight but bombed commercially, and Ross disappeared again.

White Courtesy Phone (Almo Sounds, 1995) rappresenta la loro migliore incisione, sebbene contenga vecchie canzoni arrangiate secondo uno stile new wave (Way Out West, John Cassavetes, Lazy).
