The Bah Gah Brothers were formed in Hoboken (New Jersey) and released the album Is There A Doctor In The Fish. They changed name in Cycomotogoat for the EP Cycomotogoat (De-es-el, 1992) whose psychedelic boogie brought back memories of Steppenwolf and Blue Cheer (Serenading Her Soul, Tongue and Groove). While comparisons were drawn with Mudhoney and Monster Magnet, the band is much closer to the 1960s than to the 1990s.

Alkaline (Sector 2, 1994) is a much smoother release that lacks the EP's punch.
