is a Latino rapper from the Bronx
who embraced the gansta-rap aesthetics on
Represent (1993), with Flow Joe,
and Jealous One's Envy (1995), two albums rich of drama and real-life
suspense.
Don Cartagena (1998) and Loyalty (2002) speculated on his
acquired charisma.
Big Punisher and Fat Joe joined forces in 1998 and formed Terror Squad,
which debuted with the lame Terror Squad (1999).
Big Pun died in 2000, and Terror Squad's second album,
True Story (2004), produced by Scott Storch, was just a way to
revitalize Fat Joe's career.
