Boston's acoustic trio Guster indulged in naive folk-pop ditties on
Parachute (1995) and
Goldfly (1997).
Discreet orchestral arrangements enhanced the sound of
Lost And Gone Forever (1999), containing Fa Fa.
That was probably their artistic peak.
After adding multi-instrumentalist Joe Pisapia to the lineup,
they spent almost a decade churning out classic power-pop, collected on
Keep It Together (2003), with Careful, and
Ganging Up On The Sun (2006), a path that led to
Easy Wonderful (2010), their most
radio-friendly collection
(thanks to Architects and Engineers and Do You Love Me).
