The It Bites were a British band that played a hybrid of synth-pop and
progressive-rock and recorded three albums, including
Eat Me In St. Louis (1989).
Francis Dunnery was the singer and guitarist.
He then moved to Los Angeles and New York and played guitar for Robert Plant.
Dunnery launched his solo career with
Welcome To The Wild Country and Fearless (1994), but got his
first recognition with
Tall Blonde Helicopter (Atlantic, 1995), particularly
Too Much Saturn,
48 Hours,
In My Dreams.
The more aggressive sound gave Dunnery higher mass appeal.
One Night In Sauchiehall Street (Cottage Industry, 1995) was
hardly noticed, but
Let's Go Do What Happens (Razor & Tie, 1998) returned him to the
mainstream with the power-pop of Sunflowers and the soul of
soul Perfect Shape.

Dunnery lanciò la sua carriera solista con Welcome To The Wild Country e Fearless (1994), ma ottenne i primi riconoscimenti con Tall Blonde Helicopter (1995), in particolar modo grazie a Too Much Saturn, 48 Hours e In My Dreams.
Man uscì nel 2001.
