Norway's power-trio Ved Buens Ende
wed black metal and post-rock on Written In Waters (1995),
with backing vocals by Lill Katherine Stensrud.
Years later from their ashes a new group was born,
Virus, that gave their post-metal mission an even more surreal twist on
Carheart (2003).
