Chicago's dj RP Boo (Kavain Space)
pioneered "footwork music",
a frenzied (160bpm) and syncopated kind of house music, with his singles
Baby Come On (1997)
and 11-47-99 (1999).
The genre was
poorly documented before the compilation Bangs & Works (Planet Mu, 2010).
Three years later he finally released his first full-length album:
Legacy (2013), a retrospective limited to the previous ten years.
