Ukraine's Drudkh were nazi-tinged purveyors of black metal on
Forgotten Legends (Supernal, 2003 - Season of Mist, 2009),
containing False Dawn, Forests in Fire and Gold and
Eternal Turn of the Wheel,
Autumn Aurora (2004) and Swan Road (2005).
They achieved their classic sound on
Blood In Our Wells (2006) and the oddly acoustic
Songs Of Grief And Solitude (Supernal, 2006).
The three lengthy songs of Estrangement (Supernal, 2007) were both catchy and elegant in the fashion of their early albums.
Dark Ages was a side-project of
droning ambient gothic medieval-inspired music
with synths and folk influences
that released
Twilight Of Europe (Supernal, 2005) and
A Chronicle Of The Plague (Supernal, 2006).
Drudkh's
Microcosmos (Season Of Mist, 2009) contains four lengthy songs that
matched their artistic peaks.
Handful Of Stars (Season Of Mist, 2010) was a more melodic effort
that incorporated elements of prog-pop with their trademark rhythm creativity.
Eternal Turn of the Wheel (2012) was merely a concentrate of cliches,
having lost even the appetite for melodies of
Handful Of Stars.
