Fly Pan Am is the project of Roger Tellier, a guitarist from Montreal (Canada). The influence of Godspeed You Black Emperor (Montreal) is obvious on the five lengthy and stately instrumental suites of Fly Pan Am (Constellation, 1999). The 13-minute L'Espace Au Sol Est Redessine' Par Des Immenses Panneaux Bleus and the 18-minute Dans Ses Cheveux upgrade the canon of post-rock with a new vision of hypnotic/fluctuating music.

The EP Sedatif En Frequences Et Sillons (Constellation, 2000) introduced looser and noisier structures.

Ceux Qui Inventent N'ont Jamais Vecu (Constellation, 2002) abandons the Godspeed model and often echoes Neu and early Sonic Youth.
