(vocalist Tex Kerschen, guitarist Brandon Davis and vocalist/keyboardist Erika Thrasher),
that used to be called NTX + Electric and recorded an album of
garage-free-punk-jazz, We Are The Wild Beast (2003),
gave an evil spin to shoegazing on
Invasive Exotics (2006), including the ten-minute Going South.
Fake and Cheap (2007)
was a disappointing follow-up, whereas
Free Gold (We Are Free, 2008) presented a combo more firmly controlled by
Erika Thrasher's hippy persona, but the album was a bit too fragmented.
