British pianist Vikki Jackman, an associate of Andrew Chalk, debuted with
Of Beauty Reminiscing (2006) that contained just two suites,
Wrapped In Whitenesses (17:42) and A Blue Sky Overhead (18:21),
devoted to ambient music performed on an electric piano.
The vignettes of
Whispering Pages (Faraway Press, 2008) were centered around the piano
but added field recordings and samples.
