Alexander Altaras graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2014 with a B.A. in Political Science. He is a regular proof-reader of articles published on the website. His greatest interests include linguistics, ancient history, cognitive science, classical music, the visual arts, literature, and learning languages. In addition to German and English, which he speaks with native proficiency, he has been teaching himself Latin, Ancient Greek, French, and Russian for the past few years. He hopes to learn Old Norse/Icelandic and Spanish in the near future as well. In addition to these pursuits, he is an avid runner and skier. He also likes traveling, but prefers moving to different parts of the world and living there for years at a time, in effect becoming intimately familiar with them. He loves adventures.
