Herman "Junior" Parker, a sensual crooner who was also an elegant harmonica player, specialized in simple atmospheric ballads such as Feelin' Good (1953, de facto a cover of John Lee Hooker's Boogie Chillen), Next Time You See Me (1957) and In The DarK (1961), but more interesting are Mystery Train (1953) and Mother In Law Blues (1956), penned by guitarist Pat Hare, one of the first virtuosi of the distortion.
