The Arrows, fronted by guitarist Davie Allan, debuted as one of the many surf
bands of the Los Angeles area with catchy pieces like Apache '65 but
found their true voice after Blue's Theme (1966) established Allan as the
virtuoso of the fuzz guitar.
The Arrows played the soundtracks for several films, starting with
Roger Corman's The Wild Angels (1966).
Their album Cycle-Delic Sounds (1968) contains the
seven-minute Cycle-Delic.
