Nektar, formed in Germany by guitarist/vocalist
Roye Albrighton and featuring keyboardist Allan "Taff" Freeman,
delivered some of the most innovative progressive albums of the 1970s:
the improvised electronic jazz-rock
opera Journey To The Center Of The Eye (jun/aug 1971 - ? ?),
and
the melodic suite Remember the Future (aug 1973 - nov 1973).
Roye Albrighton died in 2016.
