German-based multimedia collective Doc Wor Mirran, originally founded in Nuremberg by US-born Joseph Raimond and Bernard Worrick, debuted with a series of cassettes such as Doc Wor Mirran (eMpTy, 1984), Plays The Music Of Raisin Bran Trust (1985), Kamophlagged Dead (1987), CRuD (1987), Clubfoot & Vicious (1988), Deadthings In Love (1988), Adopt A Polyp (1989), Bo Diddly Squat (1989), and Jazz My Azz (1989).

The 18-song Severe Pig (1989), which sounds like a punk version of the Residents with occasional ventures into white noise and folk-rock, began their major discography, followed by Labyrinth Birth & Death (1989), For Serpentine I Am (1989), Breasts Of Misconception Part 1 (1990), Slow (1990), Gravy Slam (1991), Save The Fish (1991), the triple-LP Odds Sods And Dirtclods (1991), Doctors Fighting Wars For Man (1994), and countless cassettes like the triple Attention Spam (1994).
