Meringue was formed in 1992 in Florida by guitarist Trey Conner and debuted
with the five-song EP Meringue (Cherry Smash, 1994).
Performing mainly instrumental pieces, they mixed the verve and imagination
of Frank Zappa, Captain Beefheart and Gong.
Their albums,
Grandma's Supermarket House (Cherry Smash, 1995), and the
monumental Music From The Mint Green Nest (Cherry Smash, 1996), employ
a vast array of instruments.
Trey is also in Home.
