German band Sacred Steel recorded Reborn In Steel (1997), Wargods Of Metal (1998), and
Bloodlust (2000) in a conventional speed-metal style.
They tried to adapt to death-metal and doom-metal with
Slaughter Prophecy (2002) and Iron Blessings (2004).
They reformed and released Hammer Of Destruction (2006).
Sacred Steel's guitarist Jorg Knittel and vocalist Gerrit Mutz
launched the doom-metal side project
Dawn Of Winter with
In the Valley of Tears (1998), that was followed a decade later by
The Peaceful Dead (Massacre / Shadow Kingdom, 2009).
