English doom-metal rapidly proliferated in the 2000s.
Patrick Walker's Warning had debuted with
The Strength To Dream (1999) but became a sensation with
Watching From a Distance (2006) that contains five lengthy pieces:
Watching From a Distance (12:06),
Footprints (7:31),
Bridgeslyrics (11:30),
Faces (8:32),
and
Echoes (10:16).
They dissolved
in 2009 and Patrick Walker launched the prog-rock project
40 Watt Sun.
