As One is the alias of Kirk Degiorgio, a London-based techno dj/producer/remixer (who is also Future/Past, Planet E, R&S, Blue Binary, Elegy, Esoterik, Critical Phase, Family Values, Super-A-Loof, Off World Ensemble). Degiorgio has consistently pursued a techno infused with elements of jazz and soul, following the path of Squarepusher.

His formative years yielded Reflections (New Electronica, 1994), with the catchy Mihara and Meridian, Celestial Soul (New Electronica, 1995) The Art Of Prophecy (Shield, 1996), with Eclectricity, Relentless and the avant-house of Theme From Op-art, In With Their Arps And Moogs And Jazz And Things (Clear, 1997), with the monumental Epic, Hyeres and The Message In Herbie's Shirts.

Planetary Folklore (Mo Wax, 1997) achieved the jazz fusion Degiorgio had toyed with (Soul Soul Soul, Freedom Waltz, Planetary Folklore, Amalia's Mode, Brown Blue Brown On Blue).

21st Century Soul (Ubiquity, 2001) offers a lush fusion of jazz, soul, and funk (Sixty-seven, Music is An Open Sky, Amalia) next to the irresistible techno of House of Eternity, Contours and Another Revolution, and even two soul ballads, I'll Keep Lovin' You and Problems .

After the demise of As One, Degiorgio launched Off World, a jazz/electronica project, with Two Worlds (For Out, 2001), a vain exercise in elegance that updates Miles Davis to the age of techno.

So Far (Ubiquity, 2003) is a a career retrospective of Kirk Degiorgio's work under the As One moniker.

Elegant Systems (Versatile, 2005) is pure routine by a master of techno music.

As One è lo peudonimo di Kirk Degiorgio, Dj-produttore-remixer con base a Londra (tra gli altri monikers : Future/Past, Planet E, R&S, Blue Binary, Elegy, Esoterik, Critical Phase, Family Values, Super-A-Loof, Off World Ensemble ).

Gli anni di formazione hanno prodotto Reflections (New Electronica, 1994), con l’orecchiabile Mihara e Eclectricity, Celestial Soul (New Electronica, 1995), The Art Of Prophecy (Shield, 1996), con Relentless e l’avant-house Theme From Op-art, In With Their Arps And Moogs And Jazz And Things (Clear, 1997), con la monumentale Epic, Hyeres e The Message In Herbie's Shirts.

Planetary Folklore (Mo Wax, 1997) arriva a quella fusione col jazz con cui De Giorgio ha sempre giochicchiato (Soul Soul Soul, Freedom Waltz, Planetary Folklore, Amalia's Mode, Brown Blue Brown On Blue).

21st Century Soul (Ubiquity, 2001) offre una lussureggiante fusione tra jazz, soul e funk (Sixty-seven, Music is An Open Sky, Amalia) accanto all’irresistibile techno di House of Eternity, Contours e Another Revolution, e persino due ballate soul, I'll Keep Lovin' You e Problems .

Dopo l’abbandono del progetto As One, De Giorgio ha lanciato Off World, un progetto di jazz-elettronica, con Two Worlds (For Out, 2001), un inutile esercizio in eleganza che aggiorna Miles Davis all’era della techno .

So Far (Ubiquity, 2003) è una retrospettiva del lavoro di Kirk Degiorgio's sotto lo pseudonimo di As One.
