Caina, an
English one-man black-metal band (Andrew Curtis-Brignell),
matured, after Some People Fall (2006) and Mourner (2007),
with the folkish overtones of Temporary Antennae (Profound Love, 2009)
and then shifted to an ambitious fusion of
metal, pop, shoegaze and post-rock on the
double-disc Hands That Pluck (Profound Lore, 2011).
