Dr Dog is a Philadelphia quintet that specialized in
lush psychedelic-pop songs, including
three-part harmonies that compete with the Beatles and the Beach Boys.
They were mildly original on Easy Beat (Park the Van, 2004), but turned
to pedestrian Beatles imitation on We All Belong (Park the Van, 2007),
no matter how cute Old News can be.
