Mezzotint (2006), 5/10
Links:

British digital soundsculptor Chris Herbert crafted Mezzotint (Kranky, 2006), a collection of improvised low-tech collages: seven titled tracks (notably the noisy proto-industrial Stab City and the watery fragile Elisa) and five untitled tracks (notably the tenth track, a charming essay of timid cosmic impressionism). It mostly sounded like Brian Eno's Before and After Science updated to the post-ambient generation of Christian Fennesz.
