Atlanta's rapper Gucci Mane became a celebrity thanks to the witty lyrics of
Trap House (2005), a milestone album of trap music, produced by Shawty Redd,
and
Hard To Kill (2006),
the single Icy (2005), a collaboration with rapper Jeezy produced by Xavier "Zaytoven" Dotson,
a murder trial,
and
the "Cold War Series" (a trilogy of mixtapes).
The mixtape Chicken Talk (2006) was actually the best display of his trap art.
He finally displayed some musical skills on
The State vs. Radric Davis (2009),
produced by the Runners and Bangladesh
and containing
Spotlight and Wasted.
The "Trap House" series was continued on
Trap House 3 (2013), which contains Traphouse 3, produced by Joshua "Southside" Luellen and Bryan "TM88" Simmons, and Hell Yes, produced by Carlton "Honorable C.N.O.T.E." Mays.
But Trap House 4 (2014) was just sloppy and repetitive.
The mixtape King Gucci (2015) was perhaps his last meaningful release.

fine ha mostrato alcune abilità musicali in The State vs. Radric Davis
"Honorable C.N.O.T.E." Mays. Ma Trap House 4 (2014) è stato
semplicemente sciatto e ripetitivo. Il mixtape King Gucci (2015) è stato
forse il suo ultimo album significativo.
