In 2002 Marax (Georgia-based musician Eric Crowe, formerly a vocalist in a metal band) decided to release a concept album a month for one year, all twelve of them dedicated to death (although the series was eventually
completed only in 2004). The music was dark ambient a` la Lustmord.
Crowe later formed Fulci with Adam Wright, a doom-metal group that released
Dead Lights Red Sky.
