Paint It Black, fronted by Dan Yemin, harked back to the glory days of popcore
on
CVA (Jade Tree Records, 2003) and especially
Paradise (Jade Tree Records, 2005).
High-tech production (samples, electronics) turned
New Lexicon (Jade Tree Records, 2008) into a sonic experience, not just
an emotional one.
But perhaps they did even better on their EPs:
Amnesia ( 2009),
Surrender (2009) and
Invisible (2013).
