vocalist Akiko Carver and bassist Rop "Manmatesmachine" Vasquez.
Semiautomatic (5 Rue Christine, 2000) introduced an
electronic dance punk pop style in synch with the rediscovery of the
new wave.
Vintage keyboards and home-made instruments gave
The Trebuchet (Vex, 2001) and
Resident Genius (5 Rue Christine, 2002)
the sound of the Flying Lizards
twenty years later.
Wolf Centric (5 Rue Christine, 2003) shunned the most danceable
elements in favor of a return to the roots of garage-rock.
