Dutch producer Tiesto (Tijs Verwest), already a legendary dj,
became an international star of electronic dance music, particularly the
"trance" style, via
In My Memory (2001), that contains
the moving Magik Journey,
the robotic and industrial Flight 643,
Lethal Industry (originally from 1999),
the tribal syncopated Obsession,
the epic locomotive Suburban Train and the catchy elegy In My Memory.
Just Be (2004) was probably meant to display his (dubious) talent
as a songwriter (the hit Traffic).
Nyana (2003) is a double-disc mix compilation.
Elements of Life (2007), that crossed over into rock and pop,
Kaleidoscope (2009) flirted with the new taste of the electroclash
generation (I Will Be Here).
