The Wonder Years from Philadelphia, fronted by Dan Campbell , played traditional punk-pop on
Get Stoked on It (2007), a rather amateurish debut,
The Upsides (2010), possibly their emotional zenith, and
Suburbia I've Given You All and Now I'm Nothing (2011), with the
musicianship of guitarists Matt Brasch and Casey Cavaliere steadily increasing.
The Greatest Generation (2013) is a rather tedious parade of
old-fashioned melodies, from the
operatic Passing Through A Screen Door
the the choral singalong A Raindance in Traffic,
from the slow ballad The Devil In My Bloodstream
to the hysterical Teenage Parents, peaking with the melodramatic
fantasia and variations of I Just Want To Sell Out My Funeral.
