London's quintet Chapel Club, fronted by Lewis Bowman,
staged a revival of post-punk rock of the 1980s on
Palace (2011), that collects the singles O Maybe I, Five Trees, All the Eastern Girls, Surfacing (reminiscent of
Dream A Little Dream Of Me) and Blind (reminiscent of Whipping Boy's Blinded).
The songs are trivial imitations of
the Smiths,
Joy Division and
Echo & The Bunnymen,
something similar to what the White Lies had done before.
They converted to synth-pop on Good Together (2013) and then faded away, irrelevant.
