Comadre, a screamo band from the Bay Area fronted by vocalist Juan Gabe, debuted with the album
The Youth (2004) and the
12-song EP More Songs About the Man (2005).
Their most incendiary album was
Burn Your Bones (2006), worthy of classic hardcore punk-rock of the 1980s.
After the mini-album A Wolf Ticket (2009), that contains only eight short songs, they took a break and returned after four years with
the less confrontational
Comadre (2013), arranged in a variety of styles and with even an atmospheric cow-punk song, Drag Blood.
