Flo Milli, aka Alabama rapper Tamia Carter, became a star at the age of 19 when her
Beef FloMix (2019) and
In The Party (2019) went viral on the Internet.
She began to release singles every other month:
My Attitude,
Not Friendly,
Eat It Up,
Like That Bitch (possibly the best of the bunch),
Weak, etc.
And she also released her first mixtape, Ho Why Is You Here? (2020),
with witty rigmaroles like
Send The Addy and Weak that established her as a leader of the
badbitch/girlboss hip-hop scene (with the likes of
Megan Thee Stallion and
Cardi B).
You Still Here Ho? (2022) is another parade of hyper-sexuality
and so the songs mainly stand out for their attitude over the basic trap-inspired beats. Then Pretty Girls and On My Nerves are the highlights.
The method quickly becomes routine and the songs start sounding all the same.
