lengthy trance-dances for
multiple vocalists, thumb piano, xylophones, drums and chiming guitars,
notably
Drowning Goat (Mbuji-Mayi).
The double-disc Beware The Fetish (Crammed Discs, 2014) offered
even more intricate jams, such as
the eleven-minute He Who Makes Bush Fires for Others and
the twelve-minute The Dead Don't Dance ;
but for sheer melodic and rhyhmic exuberance the winner is probably
Yangye The Evil Leopard.
