Houston's rapper
Megan Pete, aka Megan Thee Stallion, rose to prominence with
the mixtape Fever (2019) and the nine-song EP Suga (2020), produced by Neptunes and Timbaland, containing Savage.
Good News (2020), crafted by a large cast of producers, contains
Girls in the Hood, Don't Stop, Body and Cry Baby,
but the music is repetitive and bland: the only appeal is her
"bad sassy bitch" persona.
Traumazine (2022), again shaped by an army of producers, contains Sweetest Pie, Plan B and Pressurelicious, and is even less musical.
Hiss was the hit from Megan (2024).
