Susanna Wallumrod debuted as a humble bedroom
singer/songwriter on
Sonata Mix Dwarf Cosmos (Rune Grammofon, 2007) and
Flower of Evil (2009), but then took a wild detour with
the electronic
Melody Mountain (Rune Grammofon, 2006) and
3 (2009), both credited to Susanna and the Magical Orchestra (actually a collaboration with keyboardist Morten Qvenild), the former being a
collection of covers.
She then collaborated with classical harpist Giovanna Pessi for
If Grief Could Wait (ECM, 2012),
with Ensemble neoN for The Forester (2013)
and with Jenny Hval for
Meshes of Voice (2014).
Her solo albums include:
Wild Dog (Rune Grammofon, 2012),
Triangle (SusannaSonata, 2016) and
Go Dig My Grave (SusannaSonata, 2018).
