(Translated from my old Italian text by Nicholas Green)
By the mid-1980s almost every hardcore band in the Boston scene had incorporated elements of heavy metal into their sound. Among the very first (as early as 1982) were Rick Jones' band Jerry's Kids; the first result of that crossover was the anthem Desperate, one of the most deranged cries of pain to come out of their generation. Then came their album Is This My World? (1983, X-Claim), with the title track and Crack In The Wall, and an inclination towards frontal assaults (Chris Doherty of Gang Green plays guitar). Jerry's Kids disappeared for a few years, but in 1989 they returned with Kill Kill Kill (Taang): this album falls short of the promise of their classic from six years earlier, although the "metal" aspects are even more pronounced.

Poi venne l'album Is This My World (X-Claim),
con la title-track e Crack In The Wall e una generale predisposizione
all'urto frontale (Chris Doherty dei Gang Green alla chitarra). I Jerry's Kids
