Seattle's trio Fall of Troy perfected a
virtuoso blend of post-metal, emocore and hardcore on
The Fall of Troy (2003),
Doppelganger (2005), possibly their technical and artistic peak (that
also includes improved versions of four songs from the first album),
and Manipulator (2007).
After bassist and vocalist Tim Ward left, the trio released the mediocre
In the Unlikely Event (2009) and then broke up.
